Not only has she brought a phenomonal amount of attention to size acceptance but she has taken the lead in busting fat myths with her positive attitude and cleverly informative videos on youtube. Her first video posted to YouTube fittingly titled, “A Fat Rant” is still racking up views. At this writing it has been viewed 1,291,793 times. She is an accomplished actress as well. I’ve been a subscriber of her youtube channel for more than a year and I’m always excited to see more of her work. Entertaining and witty, Joy Nash is the real deal: a plus size woman living her dreams loudly and proudly. I won’t be satisfied until I see this gal with her own TV show.
This is the latest of her “Fat Rants” and one that speaks to so many issues faced by plus size women. I particularly enjoyed this one which features Chenese Lewis, a rising plus size starlet in her own right. I hope we’ll see more dynamic duo projects with these ladies in the near future.
